Broken Lampcast

So, the Broken Lampcast is over. It's a sad thing to say, but it's true. However, that doesn't mean we're all going away. No, we've all started a hot new thing over at nonewgames.com! And here, we present to you the first episode of our podcast, with a special foreword by Broken Lamp. On this week's show, we talk about Batman, how ODST we are, Activision being completely crazy, Scribblenauts, and the failure of the games press. Enjoy!

So what happens when only two out of five people in a podcast show up? Well, you take all the bloopers you've been saving for a rainy day, and make this thing. Also, this might technically be the last Broken Lampcast, but we'll see about this.

When I was a kid, during one of my first times playing basketball, I tried to steal the ball after the whistle blew. I caught my foot on the back of someone's leg, fell down, did the splits, and cried. That's why you should STRETCH! Today on the podcast, the cast sans Sleeping Beauty talk about crazy games, crazy people, good times, bad times, and other generic ways to describe what usually happens on the show. Also, we'll probably have a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT next week! Earth shaking! Booty quaking! Crazy! But for now, listen to this damn podcast we made!

So tech issues killed our last episode, and other issues nearly killed this one. BUT, it was salvaged and reconstructed by hand in Chinese factories to be brought to you this week! I really have no recollection of this show other than our audio set up was retarded, problematic, and then TokyoChicken's internet started dying. Oh, and it's with me, Jastaz, Dave, Tokyo, and Jacki. A little late, but no dollars short! The Broken Lampcast is in the goofy stance on the skateboard, and you'll get to hear the crew skitch behind such crazy cars like Bioware saying violence is on it's way out, a real life professional troll, things that may increase your weight, and some hippie's car that has all these bumper stickers about not being part of the problem and stuff. And then at the end, we hop off our board at the Monster Ranch! Okay, so, I took the terrible analogy last week as a challenge, so if none of that makes sense, just take my word for it that it's a good show.

Strep Throat was a wild horse, but Broken Lamp broke it in regardless! And now he rides that horse on the radio! Jastaz has been brushing it, Dave swats the flies off of it, Jacki gave it the shots, and TokyoChicken makes a guest appearance is the young farmhand learning about life! That is maybe the worst metaphor I've ever come up with. Anyways, on this episode, we discuss things like Chopin, pirates, glitching out a dungeon, gardening, disease, and Final Fantasy 7.
